Dietary Tips to Ease Symptoms:

  1. Opt for Smaller, Frequent Meals: Eating smaller portions throughout the day prevents the stomach from becoming overly full, thus reducing the likelihood of acid reflux.
  2. Identify and Avoid Trigger Foods: Spicy dishes, citrus fruits, caffeinated beverages, and chocolate are known triggers for heartburn. Limiting intake of these items can help manage symptoms.

  4. Chew Gum: Chewing gum stimulates saliva production, which can neutralize stomach acid and aid in its quicker passage down the esophagus.
